Moana Road Photography
Adventure Range
This photoshoot was to showcase the brand new range of products that were coming in. They needed to look "outdoorsy" and "rugged". I took the model to Paraparaumu Beach where I knew that Kapiti Island would be seen in the background and there were some fantastic spots for photos!
Sunnies Shoots
This is from the sunglasses photoshoot I did, left to my own devices, just me and the model.
Each model of glasses have their own 'vibe' to them so the trick when batch photographing a bunch like this was to scout around and find a couple of locations that would serve a range of purposes - thankfully Kapiti is full of these such locations which I keep mental note of for future shoots!
Studio Photography
Also from my time at Moana Road, the trick to the studio photography was to shoot while being mindful of where the photos would end up. A lot of these types of shot would end up on other retailers websites, which may also in turn end up on Instagram, so being mindful of shots that would work in square format were important.Â
They also needed to still feel like Moana Road brand items and fit in the with the whole Moana Road aesthetic.
