Quirky Costumier

Emma from Quirky Costumier had created a brand name and logo and wanted to make her output look more professional so asked me to help create a cohesive brand set-up and some rules to follow wen posting on social media as well as creation of some stationary assets for use with clients within the scope of her work.

She was heavily inspired by burlesque, old school Hollywood and Baz Luhrman style costuming. This was our starting point for our branding. We wanted a font that would help to showcase the old hollywood style and settled for the classic "Didot"

We opted for something very simple and elegant, timeless and would stand on it's own in a striking way, but also take enough of a backseat when needed to let the costumes she creates to shine and be the centre of attention. The patterns here really help sell that aspect and help to keep the look classy and identifiable as Emmas work.
